Diagnosis and Treatment of Esophageal Motility Disorders (State of the Art Lecture)

Dr. David Levinthal gives a presentation on the motility of functional gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Levinthal covers topics such as pathophysiology and treatments.

Educational objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Improve the management of patients presenting with dysphagia by choosing the appropriate modality of testing
• Identify the key clinical features of achalasia and its manometric features
• Review the current best practices for management in order to improve clinical outcomes for these patients
