Fertility Preservation for the Cancer Patient: An Update

Drs. Stephanie Rothenberg, Erika Friehling, Kyle Orwig, and Hanna Valli join together to discuss various topics on fertility preservation for the cancer patient.

Educational objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Realize how to get access to fertility preservation services at UPMC
  • Review the indications and treatment options for fertility preservation in male and female cancer patients
  • Recognize fertility preservation options available for men, women, boys and girls
  • Recognize cancer treatments that impair future fertility
