Geriatrics: From Bench to Bedside to Policy

UPMC's Dr. Neil Resnick shares some lessons learned from the bedside care of the geriatric patient and the policies implemented as a result of these experiences. This presentation was part of the speaker series presented by the Aging Institute of UPMC Senior Services and the University of Pittsburgh.

Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define the myths associated with the treatment of urinary incontinence (UI) in the elderly
  • Use evidence-based approaches to disprove the myths associated with UI treatment in the elderly
  • Explore multidisciplinary, including Rx based, successful UI treatment protocols in the elderly
