Stroke Update

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the role of carotid stenting and endarterectomy in treatment of carotid disease
  • Describe the role of intravenous and intraarterial thrombolysis in treatment of acute stroke
  • Implement evidence-based methods for increasing good outcomes in patients treated for acute stroke using imaging
