Suicide in Old Age: Risk and Management

Dr. Alexandre Y. Dombrovski will provide an overview of how to assess and manage suicidal risk in older individuals.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • List demographic risk factors for suicide in the US
  • Identify psychiatric conditions linked to death by suicide in old age
  • Describe common difficulties in managing suicidal patients
