Dr. Herbert Zeh, Chief of the Division of Gastrointestinal (GI) Surgical Oncology at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, presents on the approach to pancreas cancer. He shares two cases from the past and present to show how the approach to this disease has evolved.

Educational objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Develop understanding of the importance of chemotherapy in pancreatic cancer
  • Explain the rationale for pre operative chemotherapy in pancreatic cancer
  • Recognize the role for robotic surgery in treatment of pancreatic cancer
  • Explain the importance of training in mastering Robotic Surgery
