Profile:

Dr. Shende received her medical degree from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Bombay, India.  She completed residencies in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She then completed a fellowship in thoracic surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
