Mark Dinga has been a Registered Dietitian at UPMC since 1980 and specializes in celiac disease/gluten-free diet counseling. He does individual counseling and also lectures to physicians, dietitians, other health professionals, and the general public about celiac disease. He specializes in nutrition counseling of cardiac patients, including patients with diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, hyperlipidemia, and obesity. Mark received his BS in Dietetics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, completed a Dietetic Internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, and received a MEd in Health Education from Penn State University.
