Dr. Korytkowski is a general endocrinologist with particular expertise in the care and management of people with all forms of diabetes, as well as of women with polycystic ovary syndrome and other disorders of androgen excess. As Director of Inpatient and Outpatient Diabetes Quality Improvements Initiatives in the Division of Endocrinology, she remains actively engaged in initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided to patients with diabetes.
Currently she sees patients with difficult-to-manage diabetes, as well as patients who elect to use evolving technologies, such as smart pumps alone or in combination with continuous glucose sensors as a way of achieving and maintaining glycemic control.
Dr. Korytkowski received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina and completed a fellowship in Endocrinology at Johns Hopkins and Mount Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
