Dr. Holly Swartz defines and dicusses the importance of Bipolar II Disorder.

Educational objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Improve diagnostic skills for identifying bipolar II disorder so that participants will be better able to distinguish among bipolar I disorder, bipolar II disorder, and major depressive disorder
• Identify epidemiologic and clinical characteristics of bipolar II disorder so that participants will be able to better recognize the illness in their practice
• Improve their skills for managing individuals with bipolar II disorder
