In this issue of UPMC Restore, Doctors Vonda J. Wright, Michael J. Tranovich, and Hongshuai Li join together to present an update on hip preservation research. Doctor Adolph Yates discusses value measurement in orthopaedic surgery, and Doctors Joon Y. Lee, Lloydine Jacobs, and Barrett Woods give an overview on the safety of thromboembolic chemoprophylaxis in spinal trauma patients requiring surgical stabilization.
