David Panczykowski, MD received his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in 2006 while concurrently employed as a fire fighter with the Clemson Fire Department. He matriculated to the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he had the opportunity to participate in research at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Dr. Panczykowski was later selected for the Campagna Scholarship in Neurological Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in 2008, completing research on cerebral vasospasm.

In 2009, he performed a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh as well as a Traumatic Brain Injury Research Fellowship under David O. Okonkwo, MD, PhD. Dr. Panczykowski continues to participate in the study of cerebrovascular lesions and neurotrauma.
