Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify normal age-related vision loss and prevalent age-related eye disease
  • Identify behavior patterns of vision loss or vision impairment in order to improve management of low vision
  • Identify impact of low vision or vision impairment on ADL/IADL in order to improve management of low vision
  • Identify low vision or vision impairment screen tools in order to improve management of low vison
  • Identify criteria for recommendations to low vision rehabilitation services for at risk individuals needing comprehensive services in order to improve management of low vision
