In this episode of Fridays with Friedlander, UPMC’s chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery, Robert Friedlander, MD, introduces UPMC’s Jorge Gonzalez-Martinez, MD, PhD, who identifies treatments for minimally invasive epilepsy surgery. Dr. Gonzalez-Martinez also explains how large-scale epileptic networks can be modulated by focal disruption of nodes and pathways within the network.
