Andres Duarte-Rojo, MD, PhD, FACP, reviews the causes of acute kidney injury in patients with cirrhosis. Dr. Duarte-Rojo also provides treatment options for hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) in liver transplant candidates and explains how to prevent chronic kidney disease (CKD).
