In this Winter 2021 edition of Rehab Grand Rounds, Maria Christina Littaua, MD, PT, and James Eubanks, MD, MS, present a clinical study on conversion disorder and physiatry. Conversion disorder (CD), also known as functional neurologic symptom disorder (FND), is a disease entity that is not referable to an organic neurologic or medical etiology. Dr. Eubanks and Dr. Littaua provide the epidemiology, pathophysiology and etiology, as well as diagnosis and treatment options.
