Multidisciplinary Management of Pituitary Tumors Virtual Update

Program Overview and Learning Objectives 

Join the UPMC Pituitary Center of Excellence for a virtual update on the multidisciplinary management of pituitary tumors. This virtual conference will be available for all registered attendees to view at their convenience online from May 1-16, 2021.

There will also be two live Q&A/case discussion sessions with the faculty on Friday, May 7 and Friday, May 14, from 12 to 1 p.m. EST. During these two live Tumor Board sessions, registrants will have the opportunity to connect, pose questions, and discuss cases with the faculty.

Participants will be able to understand the role of and advances in the medical and surgical management of pituitary lesions and other conditions that affect the pituitary.  This will include in depth discussions of:

  • Surgery (Endoscopic Endonasal Approach) 
  • Medical Therapy 
  • Radiation Treatment (Radiosurgery)
  • Perioperative/Postoperative Management

Upon completion, participants should be able to diagnose and manage:

  • Common pituitary tumors (prolactinomas and non-functioning tumors)
  • Less common secretory tumors (acromegaly and Cushing’s)  
  • Rare pituitary tumors and autoimmune conditions

Request for Case Submissions

We invite registrants to submit a case for discussion with the faculty.  Please send a brief summary of your case and include key lab results, being sure to remove all identifiable PHI, to our conference manager, Mary Jo Tutchko, via email tutchkomj@upmc.edu.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your participation in this conference, your registration fee will be refunded in its entirety if email notification is received by our conference manager (Mary Jo Tutchko, tutchkomj@upmc.edu). No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
