About This Course 

UPMC presents the 2022 Heart Valve Symposium. Led by experts from the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute, this hybrid CME event will feature a range of discussions about the latest advancements in treatment for patients diagnosed with complex valve and structural heart disease. Topics will include transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), the future of surgical aortic valve replacement, mitral and tricuspid valve disease, minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery, a review of complex cases, and upcoming clinical trials in heart valve disease. 

Who Should Attend 

This meeting is open to physicians (including family practitioners, internists, residents, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and thoracic surgeons), advanced practice providers, nurses, researchers, medical students, and other health care professionals involved in the care of patients with complex valve and structural heart disease.
