The Hip Preservation Program at UPMC Orthopaedic Care invites you to attend the 9th Annual Hip Preservation Program Conference on the topic of The Hypermobile Hip: Biomechanics, Diagnosis, and Treatment Decision-Making. The conference will be held virtually on May 16 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Who Should Attend
This course is intended for physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and athletic trainers.
Learning Objectives for Participants
- Knowledge of a clinical psychical exam of the hip.
- Knowledge of radiographic and ultrasound diagnostics for the hip.
- Knowledge of hip biomechanics.
- Understanding musculoskeletal hypermobility conditions and diagnosis processes.
- Understanding of the psychological factors of chronic hip pain and hypermobility.
- Understanding exercise rehabilitation strategies for hypermobility conditions

The University of Pittsburgh designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit[s]™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
