Overview
The 2023 International Fontan-Kreutzer Symposium will feature presentations from experts at UPMC Children’s Heart Institute, the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute, and invited faculty regarding outcomes for the Fontan procedure and clinical management. Topics of the symposium will focus on celebrating success in Fontan, screening and interventions during the lifespan of a Fontan patient, managing heart failure in Fontan and timing for invasive therapy, and medical and surgical considerations for a heart and heart-liver transplantation.
