The two-day course will practice social distancing by enforcing room occupation limits and safely spacing out workstations.
All participants, faculty, and staff are required to wear PPE. Masks, eye protection, and gloves will be provided daily to all in attendance and assisting with the course.
Surgical masks will be required when participating in hands-on stations. In situations where social distancing (greater than six feet) cannot be maintained, and close contact for longer than 15 minutes occurs, face shields or goggles will be required.
Use of face covering does not replace COVID-19 mitigation practices, such as maintaining six feet distances, practicing of good hand hygiene, and staggering of work spaces.
This two-day course is specially designed for current practicing advanced practice providers (APPs) looking to build procedural skills and APP students interested in surgical specialties.
