The UPMC Wound and Hyperbaric Centers of central Pa. are proud to present this year-long virtual series and provide the opportunity to learn about wound care from an expert team of presenters.

Program Goal

The goal of the UPMC Wound and Hyperbaric 2025 Educational Series is to provide continuing education opportunities to health care professionals interested in learning more about wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

About the Presenter

Rachel Neuschatz, RN, is a harm reduction wound care field nurse for the Philadelphia Department of Public Health’s Division of Substance Use Prevention and Harm Reduction.

Accreditation

Each session is accredited by UPMC’s Center for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences.

The University of Pittsburgh designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The maximum number of hours awarded for this Continuing Nursing Education activity is one contact hour.

Other health care professionals will receive a certificate of attendance confirming the number of contact hours commensurate with the extent of participation in this activity.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards and requirements for approval of providers of continuing education in podiatric medicine through a joint provider agreement between UPMC Mercy and UPMC Wound and Hyperbaric Centers of Central PA. UPMC Mercy is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. UPMC Mercy has approved this activity for a maximum of one (1) continuing education contact hour.
