Examining Clinical Guidelines for the Adoption of Genomic Testing: A Workshop

Dr. Mylynda Massart, Associate Director, Clinical Services at UPMC Primary Care Precision Medicine Clinic and Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is the workshop planning committee co-chair for the The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine "Roundtable on Genomics and Precision Health" workshop on October 29th.

The hybrid workshop will examine how clinical practice guidelines can impact adoption of genomic testing into routine medical care.

Speakers will discuss how genomic testing guidelines are developed and implemented within clinical practice, with a focus on exploring the impact of inconsistencies across guidelines.
