Intent and Objectives

The one-day-long course will provide a comprehensive review of management of neurologic illness in pregnancy and the post-partum period. It will feature speakers from multiple disciplines including Neurology, Obstetrics, Obstetrical Anesthesia, Oncology and Neurosurgery. Subjects covered include Preeclampsia/Eclampsia, Headache Management, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Postpartum Neuropathy, Stroke, Neurosurgical Issues in Pregnancy, omplications of Obstetrical Anesthesia and Neuro-oncologic challenges in pregnancy.

 

Who Should Attend

This program is intended for physicians, residents, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and midwives who care for pregnant women including those in the fields of neurology, obstetrics, obstetric anesthesia, as well as primary care practitioners.
