Bhavana Seth, MD, MHS, Joins Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine

Dr. Seth is joining as an assistant professor of Medicine. She earned her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College and her MHS from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. 

Dr. Seth completed multiple residencies and fellowships, including in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Seth combines clinical expertise with research interests aimed at improving outcomes in critical care settings. 

A 2024 study from Dr. Seth presented a case of physical rehabilitation while patients were awake, intubated, and proned for severe COVID-19-related acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). It highlighted the integration of evidence-based guidelines in ICU care, including light sedation and early rehabilitation, alongside prone positioning and lung-protective mechanical ventilation.
