At the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute, collaboration between our hospitals and outpatient locations makes it easier than ever for patients to receive convenient access to the care they need.

Through the use of virtual visits, our team is able to work with experts in medical sub-specialties throughout the UPMC system – allowing them to manage complex conditions locally in Williamsport. 

Our virtual clinic has enhanced our scope to include care planning for the following cardiovascular conditions:

• Cardiac amyloidosis
• Congestive heart failure
• Heart and blood vessel problems resulting from cancer treatment
• Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Following an initial appointment with the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute, our physicians collaboratively determine the most appropriate treatment plan to put in place. They also decide on the team of providers who will follow the patient for the duration of their care.
