UPMC Physicians and Researchers Present at 2022 American College of Cardiology Annual Meeting

April 14, 2022

Experts from UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh were well-represented during the American College of Cardiology (ACC) annual scientific session from April 2 to April 4. Katie Berlacher, MD, MS, FACC, medical director of the Magee-Womens Heart Program, served as vice chair of the session. She will serve in this role for ACC.23 and ACC.24 and subsequently serve as chair for the ACC.25 and ACC.26 sessions.

During this year’s meeting, physicians and researchers from UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh shared their expertise in a range of cardiovascular conditions including cardiovascular disparities, vascular disease, heart failure, and more.
