The pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery research programs at the Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh are continually working to improve clinical care for pediatric heart patients through basic science, clinical, and translational research, be it through investigator-initiated research projects or through participation in numerous multicenter collaboratives, such as the Pediatric Heart Network.
