Recent Lectures from UPMC Children’s Heart Institute Faculty

Mousumi Moulik, MD, associate professor of Pediatrics in Cardiology and Genetics/Genomic Medicine was invited to give a lecture at the Spring Seminar Series of the Pittsburgh Heart, Lung, and Blood Vascular Institute on March 20, 2024.

Dr. Moulik’s lecture was titled “Racing Against the Clock: Unwinding the Circadian Clock in HFpEF.”

Dr. Moulik serves as the director of the Pediatric Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic at the Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and she also is the co-director, of Pediatric Scientist Development Program (PedSDP) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She joined the Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s in 2017.

Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s co-director and division chief of Pediatric Cardiology, Jacqueline Kreutzer, MD, FACC, FSCAI, FPICS, was invited to give the Anna C. O’Riordan, MD, Memorial Grand Rounds lecture at St. Christopher Hospital in Philadelphia on February 15, 2024.

The subject of Dr. Kreutzer’s lecture was, “The Role of Women in the History of Congenital Heart Disease.”
