Anuradha Ray, PhD
Assembly on Allergy, Immunology & Inflammation (AII) Scientific Achievements Award
The award was presented at the AII Assembly Membership Meeting on Monday, May 22nd from 5-7 PM at the Marriott Marquis DC, in Marquis Ballroom Salon 5. This award is given to an AII member to recognize an established, internationally recognized investigator with a record of sustained exemplary achievement in the scientific areas of the Assembly.
Corrine Kliment, MD, PhD
Jo Rae Wright Award for Outstanding Science
The award was presented at the Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology (RCMB) Membership Meeting on Monday, May 22nd from 5-7 PM at the Marriot Marquis DC, in the Liberty Ballroom Salon M-P (Meeting Level 4). This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated their potential to make significant contributions to science.
Kevin F. Gibson, MD
Outstanding Clinician Award at ATS 2023 International Conference
Kevin F. Gibson, MD, medical director, Dorothy P. and Richard Simmons Center for Interstitial Lung Disease, received the Outstanding Clinician Award at this year’s American Thoracic Society (ATS) International Conference. He received the award at the Plenary Session Walter E. Washington Convention Center Hall E (level 2) on Tuesday, May 23rd at 11:30 AM. The award is given to a pulmonary, critical care, or sleep clinician in recognition of their extraordinary contributions, on the local or national level, to the clinical care of lung disease patients. Recipients of this honor are also recognized by patients and families as caring and dedicated health care providers.
