UPMC and University of Pittsburgh at Digestive Disease Week^® (DDW) 2026

Faculty from UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh participated in this year’s Digestive Disease Week^® (DDW) annual conference, which took place in Chicago from May 2 to 5. At DDW, UPMC and University of Pittsburgh experts met with international colleagues to share clinical and research innovations and advance the science and practice of gastroenterology for the benefit of patients worldwide. Session topics included colorectal cancer screening, advances in endoscopic imaging techniques, and the management of chronic pancreatitis.
