Experts Contribute to Education Program at AOFAS 2025 Annual Meeting

AOFAS 2025 Annual MeetingAt this year’s annual meeting of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) – hosted Sept. 10 to 13, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia – Peter Mangone, MD, chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery in the UPMC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, was elected to the AOFAS Presidential Line and began his service as AOFAS secretary. Dr. Mangone previously served as the president of the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the AOFAS.

Numerous members of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery also attended and contributed to meaningful sessions, lectures, courses, and research focused on the latest breakthroughs in foot and ankle orthopaedics. Learn more about their contributions below.
