2024 EEG and Epilepsy in Clinical Practice Event Review

October 2, 2024

In conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurology and the UPMC Center for Clinical Neurophysiology, Procirca hosted the 2024 EEG and Epilepsy in Clinical Practice course September 27 to 28, 2024.

The event provided an opportunity for professionals to expand their knowledge and acquire and improve competencies for providing care to patients with epilepsy and related conditions.  This course was an intensive two-day course designed to introduce core clinical epilepsy and EEG, as well as cutting edge pre-surgical evaluation techniques for drug resistant epilepsies.

A number of UPMC physicians presented on topics such as core clinical epilepsy concepts, EEG techniques, advanced pre-surgical evaluation methods for drug-resistant epilepsies, and more.

The event proved to be a valuable opportunity for professionals to elevate their understanding and practice in the field of epilepsy care.
