UPMC Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Division Faculty Presented at 2022 ISHA Conference

Michael McClincy, MD, and Ashley Disantis, DPT, OCS, both from the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, recently attended the ISHA 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting in Glasgow, Scotland.

Dr. McClincy and Dr. Disantis co-authored an abstract presented at the annual meeting titled “Rehabilitation Guidelines for Use Following a Periacetabular Osteotomy (PAO): A North American Based Delphi Consensus.” Dr. Disantis also participated in a number of panels throughout the event.

ISHA

Dr. McClincy is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon and is certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is head of the Adolescent and Young Adult Hip Preservation Program at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Disantis is a board certified, experienced orthopaedic physical therapist focused on the rehabilitation of patients with non-arthritic hip disorders. She is the PT Team Lead for the Adolescent and Young Adult Hip Preservation Program at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
