Our breast surgeons at UPMC Magee-Womens in Central Pa. partner with referring physicians and patients to provide a full spectrum of care — everything from initial diagnosis to individualized treatment.

Dr. Matthew Pierotti, our newest team member, sees patients in Carlisle.
“One thing that’s very important for patients to know about my approach to care is shared decision-making,” says Dr. Pierotti.
Dr. Abby Geletzke, serving patients in Lancaster, sees patients with breast cancer, patients who are at high risk for breast cancer, and patients with benign breast problems.
“Breast cancer treatment has become highly individualized, so I try to give patients a really clear understanding of their cancer and the treatment options available,” says Dr. Geletzke.

Refer a Patient
Please order imaging to be completed prior to the patient's visit with the breast care team at UPMC. Referrals should be sent to the UPMC breast care team.
If you are a provider outside of UPMC, please include a face sheet, insurance card, office note, procedure and/or surgical report that addresses the concern or reason for the referral. Please include any imaging not done within the UPMC system. While reports are helpful, imaging is preferred. If the patient is transferring cancer care, please provide all pathology and treatment notes.
