Dr. Roth is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry. He continues to actively teach and work at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. He is also the former Chief Medical Officer of UPMC and the previous associate senior vice chancellor for Clinical Policy and Planning, Health Sciences, at the University of Pittsburgh.

In this episode, Jack Rozel, MD, associate professor of psychiatry, and president, American Association for Emergency Psychiatry, joins Dr. Roth to discuss "Resolve." This program is a governmentally funded free-standing, multi-purpose Crisis Center serving all persons in Allegheny County. The center's clients include the mentally ill and any persons/families under great stress - whatever their concerns. Dr. Rozel is an expert on gun violence and the Medical Director for “Resolve”.
