UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to Participate in the 13th Annual Epilepsy Awareness & Education Expo

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is proud to participate in the 13th Annual Epilepsy Awareness & Education Expo, held in conjunction with Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland. This event, taking place Nov. 10 to 12, brings together families, clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders to advance understanding and treatment of epilepsy across all age groups.

As a nationally recognized Level 4 epilepsy center, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Brain Care Institute offers the highest level of medical and surgical care for children with complex epilepsy. Faculty from UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Divisions of Child Neurology and Pediatric Neurosurgery will contribute to the Expo’s program, which includes presentations on topics ranging from diagnosis and treatment to surgical interventions, therapies, and emerging technologies.
