In this episode, Abigail Schlesinger, MD, associate professor of Psychiatry, discusses integrated physical and psychiatric/behavioral care in pediatric settings. She is chief of Behavioral Science Division at UPMC Children’s Hospital and the Medical Director of Telephonic Psychiatric Services (TiPS). These expanding ambulatory integrated services are proximately provided within multi-group pediatricians offices with TiPS, including 27 Pennsylvania counties. Dr. Schlesinger has devoted her career to improving how we talk to patients and assist other physicians and patients’ families.
