Vaping Robot

In this UPMC Physician Journal feature, see a vaping robot created by a team led by Kambez H. Benam, DPhil, UPMC Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine, and Associate Professor of Medicine, and Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Officially called the Human Vaping Mimetic Real-Time Particle Analyzer, this robot enables researchers to better predict the toxicity of e-cigarettes and additives that impact human health without the need for testing in humans.
