In 2006 Eric graduated from Bridgewater College in Virginia with a degree in Biology.  He received his MD from Washington University in St. Louis in 2012, where he was named a Dr Lee B and Virginia G Harrison Scholar and where he did his residency training.  His research will likely focus on pulmonary hypertension and lung transplant.  Eric is also a drummer that has played in various jazz and funk groups.
