Dr. Ong grew up in New York and attended New York University. He later attended St George, where he first became interested in renal pathology. He did his residency in Arizona and participated in diabetes research. Now in his second year at Pitt, he is interested in doing research in peritoneal dialysis. After fellowship, he hopes to work in private practice.
