Jennifer Berliner, MD, is a cardiologist and is certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She is medical director of the Chief Medical and Science Office, is co-chair of Physician Thrive, UPMC’s physician well-being program, and is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center followed by her fellowship at The McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Dr. Berliner joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2018. Her clinical interests include heart disease in women, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, and primary prevention of cardiovascular disease. Dr. Berliner is a member of the American College of Cardiology. She serves on the Administrative Board and the Scientific Board of the Physician Wellness Academic Consortium.
