Jennifer Holder-Murray, MD, is a colorectal surgeon at UPMC CancerCenter. She has a clinical interest in malignant and benign diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. She emphasizes sphincter preservation and minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy, transanal surgery, and transanal endoscopic microsurgery. She also performs advanced surgery for inflammatory bowel diseases; surgery for diverticulitis and other conditions of the colon; and surgical treatment of benign conditions of the anus such as fistula, hemorrhoids, fissure, and incontinence.

Dr. Holder-Murray is board-certified in surgery. She received a medical degree from the University of Nevada and completed a general surgery residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Holder-Murray completed fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Holder-Murray is a member of professional organizations including American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, and Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract.
