Why did you choose UPMC residency program?
I was attracted to the specialty of PM&R due to the combination of orthopedics and neurology with the focus on improving function. As a former athlete, I was drawn to the specialty because of the focus on the musculoskeletal system and the team-based approach to patient care.

I chose UPMC because it is a well-rounded program with cutting edge research and great exposure to regenerative medicine. I was very impressed with the quality of the facilities, faculty, and residents at UPMC and am very excited to have matched here!
