Profile:

Shahid M. Malik, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann/Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency and fellowships at UPMC. He is the program director of the transplant hepatology fellowship and is currently a clinical assistant professor of medicine. 

Dr. Malik’s clinical practice includes the evaluation and management of all forms of liver disease. He also manages liver transplant patients and critically ill patients with end stage liver disease. He performs both upper endoscopy and screening colonoscopy.
