Profile:

Dr. Eack received both his Bachelor’s degree and his Master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He went on to receive his Doctoral degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.

His expertise is in the conduct of psychosocial treatment trials in severe mental illness, particularly cognitive remediation for individuals with schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorder. He has also trained extensively in functional neuroimaging and cognitive neuroscience directed toward characterizing the neuroplastic effects of psychosocial treatment in severe mental illness. Dr. Eack has published over 80 scholarly papers in a variety of highly-regarded journals and has expertise in advanced data analytics, including hierarchical linear modeling, structural equation modeling, functional connectivity analysis, and clinical trials analysis.
