Educational Objectives 

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Recognize and diagnose typical Alzheimer disease, atypical forms of Alzheimer disease, and non-Alzheimer dementias 
  • Implement an efficient approach to collecting key data so that clinicians can conduct satisfactory assessments within the constraints of primary care practice
  • Describe the use of biomarkers in establishing treatment eligibility and explain potential advent of disease-modifying treatment for Alzheimer disease
