Educational objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize thyroid nodules which merit further evaluation by ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration
- Recognize the utility of ancillary testing in thyroid nodule evaluation
- Recognize how “local” factors may influence the utility of both the Gene Expression Classifier and Molecular testing
