Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Implement skills in thyroid function testing interpretation and thus in diagnosis of thyrotoxicosis and hypothyroidism
- Implement diagnostic skills for differentiating between etiologies of thyrotoxicosis
- Recognize pitfalls in interpretation of thyroid function testing abnormalities in order to make correct diagnosis
- Follow recommended guidelines for monitoring of thyroid disorders
