University of Pittsburgh Department of Psychiatry to Present at National Update on Behavioral Emergencies Conference

Multiple faculty from the University of Pittsburgh Department of Psychiatry will deliver presentations at the 16th Annual National Update on Behavioral Emergencies Conference (NUBE), which takes place on Dec. 8 to 10, 2025 in New Orleans, La. The event is hosted by the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry.

NUBE is an annual conference focused specifically on management of behavioral emergencies within emergency medicine departments and community crisis settings. The goal of NUBE is two-fold: (1) to create a space in which health care providers from multiple disciplines can come together to network and share best practices, and (2) to advance the knowledge of behavioral emergency management.
